On Saturday 19 September 2026, Sheffield Diving came together to celebrate the 2025/26 season at its annual awards evening, and it turned out to be a very special night for Sofia.
Members' Pin Sofia started the evening by receiving her members' pin alongside her squad. It marks her place in a club that has become such a big part of her life.
Coach's Choice Award Sofia was then presented with the Coach's Choice Award. It recognises her work ethic, how hard she works in every session, her dedication to the sport, and the example she sets for others in her squad through that commitment. Her coach also described her as "a pleasure to coach", and those words mean the world to us.
Female National Age Group Diver of the Year Sofia was named Female National Age Group (NAG) Diver of the Year. This award reflects a hugely successful season of hard work, consistency and performing under pressure.
Outstanding Achievement Award of the Year As part of the National Age Group team, Sofia also shared in the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Year. The team won the Team Cup and were crowned team champions for the first time since 2016. Sofia's three national titles and gold medals were a big part of that win, and she is incredibly proud to have played her part alongside her teammates.
A Huge Thank You to Georgia None of this would have been possible without Sofia's coach, Georgia Davenport. We want to say an enormous thank you to Georgia for everything she has given this season. Her expertise, patience and attention to detail have helped Sofia grow as a diver and as a person. Georgia's dedication goes far beyond the hours on poolside. She has supported Sofia through the highs and the tough days, believed in her, pushed her to be her best and celebrated every step forward with her. Sofia's success this season is also Georgia's success. Thank you, Georgia. We are so grateful.
Thank You to Declan and Anthony We'd also like to thank squad coaches Declan Rogan and Anthony Harding for all their support throughout the season. Their encouragement and input have made a real difference.
